Lupe Fiasco on Kay Slay: “I Will Be Suing Vibe”
For interview click here
Lupe is about to come up off of Vibe?
I’m glad he cleared this up, because I aint gonna front, it had me a little tight. Tribe Called Quest aint never beef with anybody. He has a hot single out, Dumb It Down, and he don’t want to ruin it with this foolish beef.
LMAO @ Kay Slay still showing that he knows today’s Mathematics!
Lupe Won’t Dumb Down Beef With Tribe
Lupe Fiasco f*&ked up the Q-Tip’s lyrics on Electric Relaxation at the Hip Hop Honors awards show on Vh1. Instead of him just saying yo I f*&ked up, my bad. He continues to slug it out in the media by saying,
Last month, before the VH-1 Tribe flub, Lupe aired out his grievances to VIBE concerning the backlash to the revelation that he missed out on Marauders. “[Tribe] didn’t sell 10 million records, so why would people think they had a blanket on the world like that? MC Hammer was way more popular to me than Tribe Called Quest.”
It’s all about hip hop vanity, Lupe explains. “Because there’s kids in Harlem who right now would never ever listen to Midnight Marauders, I don’t give a fuck what you do, they’ll never listen to Q-Tip and they want to be rappers and they want to talk about positive things. So why would you shoot them down?”
Really, Lupe you were more into Hammer than Tribe Called Quest? I bet you had a pair of them clown pants too.
You have the right to say what you want, but fall back beefing with them ni&&as isn’t going to help you, they’re legends.
