Today in Washington D.C, a Democratic Representative of Illinois name Bobby Rush held a hearing to discuss the content of Hip Hop music.
Rush stated,
“I am a fan of hip-hop. [But there is a need] to address the issue of violence, hate and degradation that has reduced too many of our youngsters to automatons.”
David Banner combated Rush by saying,
“If by some stroke of the pen hip-hop was silenced, the issues would still be present in our communities, drugs, violence and the criminal element were around long before hip-hop existed.”
Why all these so called black leaders always trying to fight against Hip Hop? If it aint Al “Hot Comb Head” Sharpton or Jesse “Adultery” Jackson, it’s someone else!
David Banner is one hundred percent right. Our conditions is the problem not Hip Hop! Rush stop looking for a scape goat to defend your political party. Come up with a plan, to help fix our conditions, and stop trying to blame Hip Hop!
I agree with Banner that hot comb head ni&&a Albert Sharpton and Jesse “adultery” Jackson don’t do anything but run their mouths I’m so tired of them. Hip Hop has helped our community more than any of them fake as leaders so why don’t they leave us the hell alone!
Banner sits down with onsmash and talks about his new album “The Greatest Story Ever Told”. I heard him saying that it’s the best album ever or something, just check it out!
