No More Rumors, R.I.P. Bernie Mac
Comedian Bernie Mac died today.
“Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital,” his publicist, Danica Smith, said in a statement from Los Angeles.
He will be surely missed, Sickhop would like to send our condolences to the Mac family!

Bernie Mac darling, you will be missed. I enjoyed your show when you came to Milwaukee. I liked your routine the best on Kings of Comedy. I will continue to watch you on tape as always. I love you Mr. Mac

First i would like to say bernie will be well missed. I have always enjoyed him as an entertainer. but on the flip side i identify with him…I also have scarcodosis which is a rare form lung disease the media has been saying that his disease was not related to his pneumonia. well i know that is a lie because that’s exactly what this disease does to you. weakens your immune system until you will catch any thing that flies by even worse than the average person. so you ignorate people that always assume someone has aid/hiv all the time your need to realize that aids isnt the only thing that is a hazard to your immune system. and apologize to his family for even thinking such a thing, when this sickness is serious and sneaky. most people dont even know they have it until it has already damaged your lungs or other organs. and i guess no intense studies have been done on it, to me because they dont see it as urgent to know much about it. because it mostly affects the black population. no one really knows how your develop it, nor how to control the severe cases of it except chest exrays every three months, and steroids. which i could always tell when bernie was on a high dose because he would gain weight especially in his cheeks. hopefully this may make more blacks aware and fight for more studies on the disease. my prayers are with his family, i feel your pain.
this is such a sad moment for the industry and the fans. My condolences goes out to the Mac family and friends. You will be greatly missed. You were one of my favorite comedians thus far. i seen one of your routines about 15 years ago in Macon, Georgia. I laughed so hard till tears came rolling out of my eyes. you are one of the best. You are up there in the top with Fred Foxx, Richard Pryon, Robin Harris, and now Bernie Mac. you are loved and you are missed.
