Although Big Pac Kool G Rap, Rakim Big Daddy kane & KRS has all been the best at one time…Nas & Jay continues to do it… Rakim was the best, in the late 80’s by time the 90’s hit he wasnt considered that anymore…like wut he rapped in the 90’s wasnt relevant Big & Pac would have probably been the best but there times ran out once they passed …… Nas & Jay been considered on top of their game since the early 90’s and are still relevant for today…there is still alot of people that want to hear what they have to say… Im sorry longevity and staying relevant is a big part of being on top
and some of u talk abt these underground cats thas better than Nas u is sick….. Nas has underground tracks that will kill some of these underground rappers songs…. Nas Lyrics can only be challenged by the likes of Jay right now…Pac did it, Big did it & jay did it… Y was Nas the target of the best?… cuz those rappers consider him the best ….

I’m a black man, and I’m only 28 years old, I’ve been listening to hip hop since I was 4 years old straight up, my sister bought me my first record, Larry’s Dance Theme by Grandmaster Flash. What I see coming out of the south is some of the most ignorant garbage that black people have ever created, that shit should’nt even be classified as music. A bunch of HAPPILY ignorant mofos that encourage calling black women bitches and encourage young bros to sell krills and shoot other brothers. Spending all they money on sets of gold teeth and rims for their rides, where the fuck is the novelty in that. Young Jeezy and all them other crackheadz should get in a plane together so we can stinger-missle that motherfucker and end this bullshit. White people will always market US the most ignorant shit that they can find laying around, while they sit around and listen to Rakim, Nas, Ras Kass, Jedi Mind Tricks and all that other real shit. What the fuck ever happened to skills, 95% of these dudes from the South have NO SKILLS WHATSOEVER and all they are doing is helping the white man kill the only art that was 100% started in America, the only thing we have left and ya’ll killing it with stupid shit. Print some Young Jeezy lyrics and I’ll post some shit that G.Rap or Rakim spit in ‘88! and Jeezy will get straight eaten. I mean shit aside from Andre ya’ll don’t even have a rapper who could fuck with Eminem(who is bananas by the way even if he is white). Em would straight destroy any of those southern homos you just mentioned with an off-the-dome freestyle. But then again I don’t respect alot of our sisters because they get on these dudes for callin them bitches and hoes and then be the first one on the dancefloor when that bullshit comes on, women have alot to do with the shit that’s coming out, they actually buy music. Wow..I’m not sure how to feel about some of these comments…LL is obviously still quite sharp at the tongue and anyone who denies that that verse is fire is playing themselves..while I totally disagree with one statement (Rass Kass is a disciple of the aforementioned Nas, Jay-Z, etc) my man merce77 nailed it..when I see ridiculous statements like ‘how old is he’ I get offended..not only because I’m 38(same age as LL) but because that nonsense exemplifies the failure of my generation to establish its place in hip hop history..I wonder when was the last time someone questioned Mick Jagger or Bono or and said they were “too old” to be doing rock music..there is no respect in the hip hop community for its pioneers..very sad..very disturbing and indicative of the history of black people..oh..and thank you to the south for delivering a steady dose of mindless beat driven crap that has turned hip into the this generations disco..for those of you who don’t know , ask your parents and uncles and aunts..they’ll tell you what i mean..no disrepect to the Outkasts..TI’s and other hot acts from the south..unfortunately the Architects decided to put Jeezy and Solja Boy in the drivers seat..and some fool wants 30 more years of this?..30 more years of 6 year old girls shaking their booty meat?..r u fuckin serious?…wise up people…

Duke, so you’re telling me that KRS, Big Daddy Kane, Ras Kass and anybody else that doesn’t sell records is garbage???? That’s the fucking problem with this new generation of mofos that’s listening to hip hop, so skills have nothing to do with it? Dopenes is determined by how many records you sell? that’s some ignant shit, I personally know of at lest two heads on the street, who would absolutley EAT Nas or Jay in a battle, but I guess that they’re straight garbage since they’ve never sold a record, that’s why hip hop is so wack right now, this MTV-way of looking at hip hop music. I mean Nas, Pun, Jay all got they styles from G. Rap and Rakim, but I guess them niggas is wack too because they don’t sell any records. Have you ever even listened to Pharoah or Ras Kass?
