Both of these cats have a big buzz in the Hip Hop game right now! People even say that Kanye outdid Lil Wayne on “Barry Bonds.”
But if you had to pick who would you say is sicker on the mic Lil Wayne or Kanye West?

i think overall kanye is better…he good on freestyles mixtapes albums sales..everything…but ever since the carter II wayne been doin his thing gettin better and killing mixtapes. his lyrical content is way above average. but kanye is better, not by far tho. ya digg
The proof of a good rapper is if he can RHYME…which little wayne does most of the time,, but on some of his tracks its obvious he stumbles to find words that rhyme. anyone can TALK on beat…and talk clearly for that matter…he slurs in half his phrases. If LIL Wayne made every verse actually rhyme, he would be amazing to me, but even the worst rappers can rhyme 80% of the time and talk on beat or slur the rest of the song. i think the difference b/w the 2 is that Kanye’s lyrical style is more creative and well delivered, while LIL waynes style is more from the streets with poor delivery and in most songs he doesnt focus his rhymes on the theme of the track. Both MC’s on top of their game right now, but in my opinion Lil Wayne will always be rapping in the streets while Kanye will be Chillin in a VIP Booth up above laughing down at him.
Kanye West is better because he actually has a message and complexity to his raps. You always know what your gonna get when you listen to weezy…. cars, women, weed, and extended metaphors and often make no sense. You cant tell me that lollipop is a better song lyricly than jesus walks, it just lacks substance. Plus, Kanye destroyed weezy on Bary Bonds AND Lollipop remix

tough one cause they got two different styles kanye got wayne on barry bonds and they went neck n neck on lollipop remix wayne puts that work in though wat subject hasn’t wayne touched, jus about every song on c3 had a nive concept a mill in 1 week i like wayne ain’t dat crazy about em but this game is his who higher than him lyrically, popularity relevancy but his old protege Currensy i think go harder than wayne but currensy is no where near Kanye

Kanye has awesome albums listen to the classic album “College Dropout” and “Late Registration” those albums are better than anything Wayne ever did
