Jay Z And Live Nation Closed $150 Million Deal
According to Billboard, Jay Z has closed his Live Nation deal.
Live Nation closed the Jay-Z 360-degree deal Wednesday night (April 30), sources say.
The company yesterday (May 1) filed a Form-8K with the SEC which states that the artist is getting 750,000 Live Nation shares, plus an option on an additional 500,000 with the exercise price of $13.73. The shares go to Marcy Media, the company affiliated with Jay-Z (born Shawn Carter), in connection with the formation of Roc Nation LLC, a joint entertainment venture between Live Nation and Jay-Z.

Yo Jay needs to hang it up he is not worth that loot, his days are ova. Lil Wayne now he deserves 150 million deal the kids will pay to see him Hovie is done put a fork in him.
D.C Gerard
I want to marry a smart business man like Jay-Z, or someone like Barack Obama. There is nothing sexier than a smart man.
Big ups to S Dot, he’s doing his thing. Gerard here’s food for thought: Hov is gettin his money cause he makes moves. Im not sayin Weezy doesn’t make moves he’s one of the hardest workin artists in the music industry, but he gotta step his game up a few notches if he wanna see damn-near a billion dollars.
I love reading how some folks say Jay-Z is done, but mention he is a legend in the same breath. A LEGEND NEVER DIES! Think people. The Rolling Stones, A 1970’s BAND, pulled in 150+ million last year. THEY DONT HAVE ANY NEW HOT ISH…….See when you legendary, people will pay whatever to hear “dead presidents” again,…”ride or die” again….and all other Jay Z classics again. Use your head people….
For the poster who said that Jay-z is over and done.. your wrong - plain wrong. This guy is still selling out concerts while Lil Wayne can’t even sell half a theatre. I like both guys and while I do think Jay is getting old.. he still sells more than Lil Wayne, who can only sell records rather than full albums.
Jay-Z is a business man while Lil Wayne is just a little worker.
Be realistic.
