LA Times issued an apology after printing an bogus story on the 1994 shooting of Tupac Shakur. This story had suggest that Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jimmy “Henchmen” Rosemond were in fact part of the ambush on Shakur.

Later this story, which implicated Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jimmy “Henchmen” Rosemond, was proven to be inaccurate after sources reported that the FBI reports had been forged by a prisoner.

“The bottom line is that the documents we relied on should not have been used,” said L.A Times Editor Russ Stanton last night on the newspaper’s website. “We apologize both to our readers and to those referenced in the documents … and in the story.
“I now believe the truth here is I got duped,” Phillips said. “

How could these fools print a story that isn’t 100% accurate on this subject. You can’t play with a topic like this because people loved Pac! What if someone would have shot Diddy or Henchmen over this story? SMH
