Harve Pierre, the longtime Bad Boy executive and right hand man to Sean “Diddy” Combs, has been appointed President of the company. Pierre, who met Combs while they were both students at Howard University started at Bad Boy in 1993 as an intern. He steadily rose through the ranks and was promoted to Senior VP of A&R in 1998, and then Executive VP and General Manager in 2003. As president, Pierre will oversee the finance, creative, promotional, marketing, A&R, International, and Sales divisions at the label.

Yesterday (Jan. 29) C-Miller aka C-Murder aka Corey Miller’s trial was pushed back until June 9th. He was suppose begin trail in three weeks, but according to the Associated Press the lawyers in the trial attribute to delay to problems with witnesses arising.

Murder is facing 2nd degree murder charges from January 12th, 2002, in which a fan of his, 16-year-old Steve Thomas was shot to death outside of a Louisiana nightclub.

A jury in 2003 unanimously convicted Miller, but months later Judge Martha Sassone awarded him a new trial after finding that prosecutors improperly withheld background information on three defense witnesses.

On January 17, Brown’s attorney Laura Dilimetin asked acting state Supreme Court Justice Melissa Jackson to amend the rapper’s sentence, so she could visit Los Angeles’ House Clinic tomorrow (January 30), where she received her initial treatment for her hearing loss.

Seven days after the request, the New York judge has denied Foxy Brown’s request to be released from jail early so she can travel to California.
