Nas’ Song About Fearing The Black Man’s D!&k
Nas recently told MTV details about a song on his album “Nigger”, here is what he said,
“I have a song called ‘The Fear,’ ” he said. “The full title of the record is ‘The Fear of the Black Man’s Dick.’ That’s some shit you can get comedy [from], or you can get some seriousness from it when you talk about the barbaric castrations that happened in our past — which is very serious, nothing to laugh at.”
Nas definitely knows how to stir up controversy. He goes from naming his album “Nigger” to talking about fearing the black man’s d!&k. LMAO!

Son must be smoking crack
DUDE ABOVE DNT THINK (I THINK) WUT DO A MAN NEED 2 REPRODUCE(HAVE KIDS)
N DAS Y D BLACK D!&K IS FEARED YA GET ME N(WELL US)
The niggas smart as hell, yall just dont want to admit it!!!lol
Well for you local weed smoking drop outs this might come as ignorant or like Bronx Bully said “Smoking Crack”. But as childish as it may seem Nas is a very very Intellectual person (smart). Castration was a punishment for Africans in some tribes, but for some other tribes it was a sign of respect. Some tribes even wore their enemy’s testicals as a pendant around their neck to show a sign of power. Please read a book or 2 people so we can show other races that we are intellectualy predominant, not just hear Bob Marley music just because he smokes weed.
nas is about to kill it with his new album!!!
[…] Times will have to call it the “N-word” album) Nas is planning a track titled “The Fear of the Black Man’s Dick” From the Illest One’s […]
To HAUV, I understand your comments, and sense u have some intelligence, but I completely disagree with u saying that we have to show other races how intelligent we are, since that to me is a slave’s mentality. Life is too short, and it’s not our job to show anything, cuz the last time I checked, many people from other races could give a sXXX what we think, so why care what they think?
HAUV I would like to know the name of some of the books. that discusses castration of men both as a punishment and as a trophy. I love NAS but to be truthful I hope that he doesn’t title his album “NIGGER” because I don’t think he wouldn’t be able to encapsulate the positive & negative conations that come with it. I think Ras Kass would be able to, but Nas I doubt…
It’s funny when people say Nas is smart and gives him a free pass because of it. Nas is doing this because his last three or four records have flopped like pancakes on a griddle. If you don’t believe me check billboard.com. Nas is not doing this to spread a message he is doing this only to get attention to start selling records. Just like the Kanye vs. Fifty fued and the Jay - Z using a title of a popular movie as the name for his latest album it is a publicity stunt to get people talking and interested. Look at the title of Nas last album Hip is dead and now he names his next the album the n word and has a song talking about the fear of the black man d$$k. Nas is whack. All the momentum and props he got when ethered is fading. If this was something 50 did all the haters would say its nothing but a publicity stunt but because its the 8th grade drop out named Nas who reads all the time they say he must have a message or a purpose. Yeah the message is please buy my album because I a falling off and my wife Kellis just lost her record deal. Whether you love it or hate it is the truth
I can’t wait to hear exactly what he says on this song. The black man’s dick has been the object of fear, curiosity, and hate for ages here in America. Jim Crowe was put into effect for the sole purpose of keeping white women away from black men. The lynchings and castration of black men drew crowds as big as the ones you see on Sunday afternoons in NFL games; except after these “games” “fans” went home with more than a jersey or an autograph they went home with clothing, limbs, and yes the black man’s genitals. America has ran from this past and it is great to see Nas addressing it. It is 2007 soon to be 2008 and without proper education and dialogue America will never be the country it prides itself as being. To gloss over history and the practices of this country is one of the reasons it cannot move forward. Unfortunatley the people who need to hear this album will tune it out and say it is ignorance. I applaud Nas for taking the chance to make something relevant for the young and old black and white to listen to together and talk about. If nooses are still being hung to symbolize the past at local high schools police precincts and other public places I would think the past or at least its thinking are still amongst us. Nas should be congratulated for treading in these murky American waters as should other artists (Ras Kass listen to the song Nature of the Threat).
Well first of all anonymous you just described what i was trying to reach all along, is it really necessary to curse when typing with anger?…come on..we all know their is no such thing as a race between races but that doesn’t stop African Americans to play the race card everytime something goes awry for us here in America. We don’t have to show anyone else what we stand for (that’s true) but we need to show ourselves (young minds) that we don’t need cars, money or fame to be succcesful. I’m succesful in my own way and that’s why Nas is trying HIS way of reaching out to young people how we all struggle, and then people hate on him for that? i don’t understand that.
To continue this discussion:……..Nas already has money and record industry fame, he doesn’t really need to “sell” records so why even compare his record sales to other up-coming rappers?…..think about it…he’s doing things music wise for the time that he has on this earth to communicate with other people who ran through the same struggle but just different century. He’s spending time here well if you ask me, i just don’t see why people can’t understand that.
Cosign with Nas is a clown truer words were never spoken.
Nas definitely knows what he’s doing, this isn’t about making money! He’s teaching you us things about the mindset of other races. And things that have been said in history about fearing blacks. Why do you think the black race was picked on the most in the past? because, blacks are the biggest threat to other races.
So Nas isn’t a clown! YOu’re a clown!
i don’t think you people truly understand that nas is the most prolific artist of our times (besides pac), he makes the music that he wants how he wants and doesn’t let the corporate machine dictate his future…and by the way the man sold 800k off of word of mouth alone there was no real promoton for hhid so its not like he’s hurting for money…and to name your song fear of a black di#$ is genius because that is exactly what the white man has feared most about us since we landed here, they fear it and there women fantasize about it that is why castration was used so frequently as a form of punishment for slaves and is still used today but instead of cutting off our dicks they take our balls and make us docile money loving coons that do whatever massa tell us to do…nat turner would be ashamed of us all
Ignorance & sheer stupidity is a motherfucka.
Many of you (unfortunately Blk ppl) wanna think that Nas is stupid but don’t many of you know that there are historical facts that support the claim that Black men were castrated? Did you know that their testicles were then sewn on to string & worn as a necklace around the necks of White men? Do you know that all of that was done to protect their precious white flower (White wmn) from the “brutish beast” (Blk men)? Have you read the Isis Papers which delves into the psychology of U.S. institutional racism? I’m guessing that you haven’t.
The history of racism in the U.S. is unbelievable & I’m happy that Nas is speaking on it. There’s more to speak on in Hip Hop than niggas hating on you, bitches you fuck, niggas you kill, money you make, & drugs.
There are a lot of people who are very aware of the connection about how white men hate on black men because of the “difference” of genitalia size. In fact, the topic has been covered by black scholars. So, there’s really no debate.
Nevertheless, Nas is heading down a slippery slope with the direction of his next cd. The “intellectual” pass he obtained over the years is about to be diminished. He needs to get a new game.
The brothers we are trying to get to pull up their pants, wear a belt and get on track with a livelihood that will enrich their lives and the black community, don’t need to be swayed by a hip hop song that places the focus on their crotch - whatever the message is. We can educate each other better than that.
It is so funny to me to see, hear or in this case read about people going back and forth aruging or debating about someone they have never met, and only know from what they read. It amazes me that people put so much thought into the reasoning behind other’s decision that doesn’t directly affect them. Wether his song is about black men being castrated or it’s just for publicity who cares. Why do you care so much? Everything always have to been an issue and the main ones who make everything an issue is usually black person. That’s why white people or so afraid to say certain things and do certains because black people are so quick to through out the race card.
All of yall sound like idiots…… The fear of the black mans dick is real….. Study your history…. Read about Osiris and Isis… and Heru or Horus…
The black man fertilizes the earth…they castrated us… to plant our jewels in the ground so America would grow…… the study of the moon and starts used when they planted…was from us…..
I hate to say it..but the white man needed us to prosper..and they still do……
This is not to be offensive….but….. it is very real… dont just write him off….
if you listen to Wu Tang…they’ve been tellin you this for years…
on the Chambers… “im the Osiris of this shit”…. “Socrates philosophies dont define how I be droppin these”
…..The greeks got everyone afraid of 666…. when they should be afraid of 999
BLACK MEN…. KNOW YOUR HISTORY because you created Society
This discussion is such a waste of time. Instead of obsessing on the size of our dicks–everybody knows we’ve got big dicks, Big deal. Why don’t we spend time obsessing over our lack of ownership of hotels, movie studios, auto manufacturing plants, airlines, trucking lines, shipping lines, shopping malls, skyscrapers, and oil companies, and last but not least, land; to name a few. Not one black college anywhere on the west coast? 400 Billion dollars in annual gross income and not shit to show for it. Maybe one of the reasons why we lack all these true symbols of real wealth is we are too busy obsessing on bullshit that will get us nowhere. And we wonder why we don’t get any respect around the world. And how other minorities come into the USA, speak a language other than English and in a short time eclipse us, in terms of progress. If NAS is so intelligent, why doesn’t he drop some real science, and not rehash the same old shit that’s been dished out over the last 100 years. When are we going to stop spinning our wheels. Millions of our people in Africa and Haiti are starving and and dying of Aids and this is the best we can do? Black men,if you are satisfied with having a big dick as your ONLY claim to fame, then maybe you don’t deserve any better.
Wake up people!
“This discussion is such a waste of time. Instead of obsessing on the size of our dicks–everybody knows we’ve got big dicks, Big deal.”
Actually we don’t have big dicks compared to our white and Asian counterparts. It is a sexual stereotype created by the slave masters who believe that black men were sexual deviants and wanted to rape white women. Many black men AND black females (those size queens who can’t shut up about needing more than 8 inches to please them) need to stop perpetuating the stereotype of black men being well endowed and macks in the bed room. There are many brothas hung like chihuahuas and don’t have a clue of what to do in the bed room just like there is in any other race.
I should take a few days off more often! Ya’ll really gettin it in on this one… I gotta agree with “sytish23″ on this one… I don’t know the dude so I don’t really know his mindstate but I’ll still cop the album… And everyone throwin hate bombs just know that there is a thin line between not liking something and “hating”; just like there is a thin one between liking something and “dickriding” At the end of the day it’s just music, too much more important things goin on than who’s album does what
All ya’ll handing passes to NAS whack ass, rappin’ about “Nas is teaching us somethin’”…ah ah a a a ahhh…”go read a book you illiterate son-of-a-beeyaaach”. That’s where knowledge is…the library. LMAO
I totally agree with ebony brotha and haitian brotha, you guys said it.
Thanks T Carter and Haitian Brotha for keeping it real. Steeloz, man you are intense! I hear ya doe. At least we are gettin some good dialogue out of this one. I just want us to be the best we can be. If we want to walk with Kings and Queens we got to command that type of respect so others can laugh with us and not at us. Not tryin to hate, Cage, just expressing another point of view. Sometimes, we have to vote with our dollars. I choose not to support NAS this time, not for what he is sayin but how he is choosing to say it. But I respect your right to spend yours as you choose too.
Jewel,
Sho ya right!
Yo, the dude who said Nas is whack is a asshole. Nas is a genius. Dumb niggas stay mad over shit they don’t understand. Instead of tryna learn from shit they hate on it. Also, CDs that don’t sell are the best music sometimes. Nas knows this and titled his album and song the way he is is just like a fuck it attitude. Hate it or love it status. Even if he was tryna sell records, so what? Make money, why you mad? It’s still gonna be some ill shit and u know it.
Thats some gay shit right there , what the fuck is he talking about ? Nas needs to focused on the real deal and stop acting like a NIGGER !
Americans are just cookcoo, The Knowledge of History serves a person thats how they the whites have governed for so long in learning our and everyone else history. Manipulating for their own use. Try listen to the CD. This does not mean you have to take in every thing you hear. We all have our owm mind. Just some of us are brain washed very easily
“Dumb niggas stay mad over shit they don’t understand”
“It’s STILL gonna be some ill shit, and YOU know it”
QG is right on the money! go Nas man!
“Steeloz” on the real fam,
Im suprized some one hasnt split your wig by now.
funny how people get bold, and talk slick behind a key board,
I got one for yall, thats the ONLY time your hands do the talking for somthing you believe in, cowerd ass niggas.
Nas, if you’re reading this; fuck em, give em that Illmatic knowledge. Do you my nigga, let these cowerds know.
If Jigga Boo I mean Jigga & 50 Cent is some kind of messiah who do you think NAS is? Stop being brainwashed and try supporting something real instead of glamourizing the materialistic bull. That fear is one subject. KRS was the realest emcee ever and noone really follwed behind him but NAS. Get out the fields and get in the house. We not picking cotton anymore.
There are other races in America you know? Hispanics, Asians, Indians, etc all are a part of America, and it’s really not fair for them to always be caught up in a world that thinks it’s only about black and white or whites getting down on blacks. We’re never going to make progress like this when black people keep overplaying their shit to overshadow other, bigger minorities.
you know if you read a book that someone else didnt read so what you should try to put them on to it instead of trying to make them look ignorant, all through this thing blacks have been trying to make other blacks look ignorant, whats your problem, that the problem with black instead of trying to work together we try to put down and expect someone to stand up but never ourselves, nas just made an album on what many blacks in his hood( new york) think about, he’s just a thinking brother who say’s some shit thats on his chest sometimes it aint about how blacks this and blacks that, what are yall all talking about.
nas is one of the greatest and influential rappers of all time but he can not speak for all races. i dont know who fears that but black people fear that white dick thats why if they see a white guy with a black girl they get super mad and they say things like “look at that white boy thinkin he somebody” the majority of general white america is over the race card why cant black america do the same and look past slavery because in the end thats what it all comes back to when in reality the black leaders of tribes in africa were the ones who sold thier people to the europeans for weapons and money but nas is still that nigg** from a white boy like myself
this makes alot of sense……let him come out with the album first
