Who’s Sicker On the Mic? Jay Z vs Nas
Yeah, yeah, we know this question has been out there for a long time. But we starting a new category called who’s sicker and we starting it out with these two cats. So who do y’all think is sicker? Jigga or Godson
This is simply and foremost a waste of time…..we all know the beef thing and we all know that this question has been asked a million times. Now have you ever thought about asking why do MC’s do what they do?…each artist represents a style that only a few followers can recognize as “tight to def” we shouldn’t be asking who’s the sickest, we should be thanking these brothers for ripping the mic and showing the whole world what Hip-Hop was all about back in the day. 3 things come to mind when they talk about the “old school” way, 1: An MC who can get the party jumping (not a Hype-Man) 2: A dominant DJ who can cut records into shame. 3: A well behaved good atmosphere having CROWD, because if you have both the MC and the Illest DJ and their is no one on the dancefloor…then you have a problem. Jigga and Nas are both the Illest, not the Illest of the world but they are part of it.
CLOSE BATTLE BUT ULTIMATELY JAY-Z IS SICKER. HE’S BEEN WAY MORE CONSISTENT AS FAR AS HIT SONGS AND ALBUMS SALES. JAY IZ THE BETTER RAPPER AND SONGWRITER WHILE NAS IS A BETTER LYRICIST AND POET. CLOSE BUT JAY’S BETTER 2 ME.
Gotta give it to Nas. Jay is a better businessman but Ether should still shut this debate down immediately. Round up the Next 2 please.

There is no contest. Jay-Z patterned a portion of his style after God’s Son. Jay-Z had also been etherized last time I checked and is still biting rhymes. Nas has social and political consciousness going for him as well as the fact that he tries to set standards and promote positive messages for today’s downtrodden populations.
I dont really see the contest. One of these artists put out the most overrated RESPONSE dis song in history (it was incohesive and sounded like a deeply hurt grown ass man yelling any insult that came to mind and at times didnt even rhyme!), while the other broke the aforementioned artist’s career down thoroughly and put a fat ass spotlight on that artist’s inconsistencies. it’s so obvious.
